Zelensky commented on the likely offensive of the Russian Federation in February
President Vladimir Zelensky commented on the possible repeated large-scale offensive of the Russian invaders in Ukraine. He announced this during a video message on the evening of February 5.
«There are already many reports that the occupiers want to do something symbolic in February. Try to make up for their last year's losses. We see this increased pressure in different directions of the front, as well as pressure in the information field,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Zelensky noted that particularly fierce fighting continues in the Donetsk region.
«But no matter how hard it is and no matter what the pressure, we must endure», he stressed.
The President assured that everyone every day and every week is used to strengthen defense at the front, strengthen Ukraine's international position and increase pressure on Russia, and thereby give Ukrainians new opportunities to get through this difficult time.
« we have no other alternative than to defend ourselves and win», Zelensky added.
