Zelensky: If Iran didn't supply weapons to Russia, we would be closer to peace

President Volodymyr Zelensky is sure that Iran, which supplies Russia with weapons, should be responsible for the consequences of the war in Ukraine together with it. He stated this in his video message on November 6.

The Ukrainian leader noted that on Sunday he discussed increased pressure on the Iranian regime with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. He emphasized that Iran's complicity in Russian terror should be punished.

The President promised that this issue would be raised not only at the level of Ukraine's traditional partners. He emphasized that the whole world will know that the Iranian regime is helping Russia to continue this war, and therefore to prolong the effect of those threats to the world that are provoked precisely by the Russian war.

«If If it weren’t for Iranian arms supplies to the aggressor, we would now be closer to peace, which means closer to a complete solution to the food crisis, closer to solving the cost of living crisis, to stabilization in the energy market, to reliable protection against radiation blackmail, which Russia does not leave&#187 ;, — Zelensky said.

He added that absolutely everyone who helps the Russian Federation to continue this war should be responsible for the consequences of this war together with it.

  • Iran admitted that he had sent drones to Russia, but even “before the war.”
  • The OP proposed to hit the drone factories in Iran.
