President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to messages on social networks that Ukrainian defenders lack protective ammunition. This was discussed in his address to the Ukrainians. – Today I asked the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to be very attentive to reports in the media and social networks that some of our soldiers do not have enough personal protective equipment. The reports I receive are significantly different from those discussed in society, Zelensky said. According to him, the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will check the logistics and distribution of protective equipment for the military. – I'm waiting to check the logistics in the army, check what is supplied and how personal protective equipment is distributed. Today, everyone who arrives in the war zone should have enough of everything necessary for protection – the state provides everything necessary, – the president noted. Network users have repeatedly written about the lack of ammunition for Ukrainian servicemen. In a number of regions, volunteers are raising funds to buy body armor, helmets and other equipment for our defenders. Also, Ukrainian journalists announced a fundraiser for the purchase of weapons to their colleague, sergeant of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Petrakovskiy.
