Zelensky: This week there may really be revenge on Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that most likely Russia is preparing for revenge this week, but the Russians are no longer as powerful as they were a year ago. He stated this in an interview with Die Welt.
«This week, in fact, there may be a revenge on Russia, they say, an offensive should be expected. As a result, anxiety arises. Some regions of Ukraine have been living this way since 2014. But the Russians are no longer as powerful as they were a year ago – even then they did not have the resources to occupy our country. Today they are weakened, and we have become stronger. In addition, they do not have the same motivation as our soldiers. We are fighting in our country, we are protecting our homes and families. When we lose, we really lose everything: our homes, our family members. We live here», — Zelensky noted.
- According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, Russia has accumulated about 450 tactical aircraft and 300 helicopters near Ukraine, half of them attack ones.
