Zhivitsky: Rumors about possible Russian attack on Sumy region are not true

Information in social networks about a possible offensive by Russian invaders in the Sumy region is not true. This was reported by the head of the Sumy region Dmitry Zhyvitsky on his Facebook page.

«In social networks, information is being circulated about a possible enemy attack on the Sumy region. But she is not true! According to the command of the OTU Sumy, the situation is stable and under control. The enemy makes provocative attacks – defenders and defenders give a worthy rebuff to such actions. So far, no signs of the formation of military units or groups in our direction have been identified!» — Zyvitsky emphasized.

He noted that there are also warnings from the military that exercises will be held from 00:00 on November 3, 2022. Zhivitsky specified that at this time a more intensive movement of military equipment is possible, as well as a greater number of personnel with weapons on the streets of settlements.

«These are planned activities, and not a cause for concern ! Thanks to our defenders and defenders! We will win! Glory to Ukraine!» — he emphasized.
